2006/12/15 Bye Bye Asian Games :'(
HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY! I'm back again and starting to get bored of blogging ><, but I like to fill u with thw updates, guys! so there were plenty of events that has happened in the last 2 weeks, but today is 15th Dec which means the end of the asian games*tears*, so here to start by the events of today: Doha won the gold medal today! Yesterday, I had a basic arabic test...it was easy but too long ..more about 7-8 pages Did I mention how the weather was here?

[/EDIT] Apologizes for the delay of this blog yo! I've been at the stadium lately watching the opening ceremony. It was raining and the weather was cold, anyways here's what happened [EDIT/]
December 1, 2006 was an Important date in the history of qatar because it was the opening of the 15 asian games 2006..luckily it took place in qatar, and I gotta say I loved that ceremony. Even the stadium rox, the way it's built and the flame tower was next to it..really awesome :)
Did u see that mysterious indian artist? despite her weird outfit, her song rox! seriosuly, I thought she'd sing in indian at first but it turned that the song was in english lmao. The ceremony started in a nice way...they gathered a number of ppl at the stadium holding light torches in their hands and combined the word "peace upon you"..NICE!!.. Take a look at the fireworks:

Amazing, innit? the ceremony started at 7:00pm and ended at 10:30pm I think. after the ceremony, the city was incredibly crowded with ppl all over the corniche in doha waving and driving their cars, ofcourse for the asian games! It was really a lovely ceremony and I liked it. Today plans: well no specific plans to be honest, but I guess I should give my head a rest and go out for some time...I couldnt go to my friend's bday party yesterday coz of the rain..WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA2222. but it doesnt matter lol Anyways gotta go right now and see you guys after 15th Dec! |

They stand alone, heroes to the State of Qatar and all who have taken this most fantastic of Asian Games to their hearts It was a fairytale ending to the Games hosts, winning the men's football gold for the first time by beating Iraq 1-0 on Friday 15 December – the last day of Doha 2006. so Congratulations Qatar!!

. The mid year exam is gonna start on the next january..who knows when exactly! good thing we are gonna have the a whole month as a holiday
